Products: Liquid Discovery Manager

Liquid Discovery ManagerTM, when paired with Liquid Lit ManagerTM, is the only single product on the market to take you from discovery to trial. With this potent combination of Liquid Lit ManagerTM and Liquid Discovery ManagerTM, law firms can litigate cases better, faster and more thoroughly than ever by using one system from start to finish. Two great options. One fully integrated system.

Foreign Language Search - Liquid Discovery ManagerTM search is integrated with Liquid Lit ManagerTM and utilizes that same robust search engine that allows users to find documents quickly and accurately with the use of Boolean, proximity, fuzzy, wildcard and natural language search features. There is no limit to the number of criteria utilized in a given search. Users also have the power to search 162 different languages, including Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Greek,Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. Extended support, such as word stemming, is available for 32 languages…including all of the aforementioned.

Review - We understand that review time is critical and needs to be as short as possible. We have developed a system whereby an administrator can easily create review sets based on search criteria or have the work divided up equitably amongst the review team. Reviewers also have the flexibility to tag documents in bulk and to code parent/child documents together.

Redaction Tool - Users can redact confidential or privileged information from all case files and documents with the Redaction Tool in Liquid Discovery ManagerTM. It is an essential, valuable and time-saving feature for cases of all sizes.

Online Bates Stamp - Liquid Discovery ManagerTM features the ability to electronically Bates-stamp production sets through an easy-to-use interface. This intelligent, flexible and fully automated tool allows users to specify characteristics of each stamp, including prefix/suffix, placement, increment and additional text. Users can also create sophisticated Bates stamping rules based on flag designations through our simple drag and drop interface. Stamping is completed on-line, so there is no need to pull down the documents, Bates stamp and then repost the Bates-stamped version of the files … saving you time.

Produce - Files can be prepared in any format (single-page TIFF, multi-page TIFF, PDF or native) along with any desired load file. The end product can be delivered over secure FTP, disk, hard drive or hard copy.

Workflow and Reporting - Liquid Discovery ManagerTM enables a consistent approach to discovery requests and production sets, while being flexible enough to adapt to each firm's work style. Users are able to easily track at a glance the review process on one simple screen. When producing documents, users can arrange production sets, define Bates ranges and create privilege logs.

Native File Review - The View Native File feature allows users to open the original file format, including documents created in Excel or Word. This is an advantageous feature when seeking behind-the-scenes information in documents, such as formulas in spreadsheets.

Access - Just like Liquid Lit ManagerTM, Liquid Discovery ManagerTM exceeds the highest industry security standards. Documents are secured by user groups for separate search and review access. Access to files can be limited all the way down to the document level. This can be very advantageous in multi-party litigation, joint plaintiff or defense groups, or cases involving opposing parties.

Discovery Services - LLM can process hundreds of different types of native files, including entire e-mail accounts (such as Outlook, Lotus Notes and GroupWise). We recognize that litigation presents its own unique circumstances and challenges, such as dealing with foreign languages or overcoming security-locked files. LLM meets with the client to determine their goals for the electronic discovery project and help determine the best methods of achieving those goals. We can help you determine the most appropriate electronic discovery processing parameters, including the areas of de-duplication and filtering.
