Storage and Security
Our applications and data are hosted in a secure, redundant environment. The servers are housed in a data center that is isolated from everyone but level-three technicians, where military-grade passcards and biometric scanners are used to restrict access to the data center. Backup data is stored in multiple locations. LLM performs regular scheduled backups of the databases used for Liquid Lit ManagerTM and Liquid Discovery ManagerTM. Full backups of the database are performed each business evening. We have an array of servers that are load-balanced to redistribute processing for performance and redundancy. The applications are accessed via a secure connection, using the strongest commercially-available encryption to ensure your data's safety. In addition to these measures, we use industry-leading assessment software to regularly verify that our systems are safe from vulnerabilities.
The data center's power systems are designed to run even in the event of a complete power outage. All servers are powered by conditioned power through N+1 redundant uninterruptible power supplies. Diesel power generation provides power in the event of an extended outage. All heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are N+1 redundant. Cables are dual-routed for redundancy. Our internet backbone is provided by six major providers to ensure optimal performance and 100% uptime. This, in conjunction with our server and data redundancy, allows us to offer a 99.5% service availability guarantee.
Lack of Size Limitations
Liquid Lit ManagerTM and Liquid Discovery ManagerTM are products that was built on very robust fundamentals with a keen focus on flexibility -- in both client-specific configuration and scalability to address data growth and user traffic. The system itself resides on an array of servers that intelligently share traffic, and to which additional servers can be transparently added to handle increased traffic. Our bandwidth is provided by six of the largest backbone providers in the industry, through which we are able to achieve 100% network uptime and avoid congestion.
The coded fields associated with the documents in the applications are very efficiently constructed, which also increases performance, and is housed in a database that was designed for high-speed access of large datasets in the millions of records. Since we host Liquid Lit ManagerTM and Liquid Discovery ManagerTM, we can ensure that whatever case is brought to us is accommodated efficiently, regardless of size.
